Alessandra Cora singing Down on my knees by Ayo

After earthquake, Italy buries its dead

Among the others awaiting burial or cremation were a cook, a teacher, an authority on German philosophy, and 22-year-old Alessandra Cora, an aspiring singer from Capri who was said to have a peculiarly melancholy smile. There were the children who died too, in miniature, white coffins, some laid on top of those of their parents, some adorned with a favourite toy.
The youngest victim of the earthquake, Anton Iovan, was born last November. What is known in English as Good Friday and in Italian as Holy Friday once had a different name in parts of Catholic Europe.

At 22-years-old, Alessandra Cora was to way too young to have been taken by this tragic event, but she was among hundreds of all ages who perished in L'Aquila.

Good video to post in thought of the L'Aquila victims.
