BUZZNET LOVE

Fair Play è il nome di un impegno ufficiale preso dalla FIFA per aumentare l'etica all'interno del calcio e per prevenire la discriminazione in questo sport. Gli intenti del Fair Play comunque, esulano dal mero contesto calcistico: oltre a cercare di ridurre il razzismo all'interno del calcio, il Fair Play è il supporto che la FIFA dà alle organizzazioni che cercano di migliorare le condizioni di vita nel mondo.

I principi del Fair Play

1. Giocare per vincere
2. Giocare con lealtà
3. Attenersi alle regole del gioco
4. Portare rispetto ai compagni di squadra, agli avversari, agli arbitri e agli spettatori.
5. Accettare la sconfitta con dignità.
6. Rifiutare la corruzione, il doping, il razzismo, la violenza e qualsiasi cosa possa arrecare danno allo sport.
7. Aiutare gli altri a resistere ai tentativi di corruzione.
8. Denunciare coloro che tentano di screditare lo sport.
9. Onorare coloro che difendono la buona reputazione dello sport.

La FIFA e la UEFA hanno in più occasioni premiato coloro che hanno sposato appieno i fondamenti del Fair Play.

Coffee, My Old Friend

An aroma that fills the room with warmth brewing gently, steady and
calm.
Two friends together in stolen moments sharing soul, heart, life.
Weaving through the years
like a fine delicate lace.
The design unravels details,
simplicity, sometimes flaws.
And even still, meshing together
bonded by each cup.
The tenderness of solitude
occassionally with a good book.
As I take the first sip
of the first cup
I realize again that I am blessed.
To share this cup with such a friend,
sometimes it being only me.
So much more than flavor, roast or blend...
A way of life.

IT'S HALLOWEEN

It's Halloween! It's Halloween!
The moon is full and bright
And we shall see what can't be seen
On any other night.

Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms.

In masks and gowns
we haunt the street
And knock on doors
for trick or treat.

the king and queen,

                       PLACES THAT I'VE VISITED DURING MY VACATIONS

Place to visit Bellagio,
Lago di Como. When you are standing on the banks of Lake Como, it seems surreal and its beauty envelops you. The attraction of Italy is its “other-wordliness”. It’s no wonder George Lucas selected Lago di Como to film the final scenes of Star Wars at Villa del Balbianello. Winston Churchill enjoyed staying at Lake Como and spent a long painting holiday there in 1945 after he lost a re-election bid as Great Britain’s Prime Minister. George Clooney, Donatella Versace and other celebrities live near here. This paradisiacal setting is at the foot of the Alps with its splendid valleys and extraordinary landscapes. Pliny the Younger owned two villas at Lago di Como.

Monte Gargano is a mountain in Apulia, Italy forming the backbone of the peninsula Promontorio del Gargano on the Adriatic Sea. Most of the upland area, about 1,211.18 km² above the development along the coasts and in the lower valleys, is now a national park, Parco nazionale del Gargano, formed in 1995. It is administratively part of the Province of Foggia.

Gargano is a peninsula partly mountainous and partly covered by the remains of an ancient forest, Foresta Umbra, the only remaining part in Italy of the ancient oak and beech forest that once covered much of Central Europe as well as the Appenine deciduous montane forests biome. Horace spoke of the oaks of Garganus in Ode II, ix.

The coast of Gargano is rich in beaches and tourist facilities. In the north are two major salt lakes Lesina and Varano. On the northern side of Gargano and on the shores of the lake with the same name stands the maritime town of Lesina. Monte Gargano is the site of the oldest shrine in Western Europe dedicated to the archangel Michael, Monte Sant'Angelo sul Gargano.

Today tourism is thriving with several hotels and campsites, in particular along the sea-side of Marina of Lesina, give the possibility of staying in this suggestive area. Tourist attractions include the cathedral, the episcopal palace, the Abbey of Santa Maria of Ripalta and the volcanic rocks dating back to the Triassic era, known as "Black Stones", as well as the Sanctuary of San Nazario.

The National Park of Gargano is one of the few national protected areas efficiently contributing to the "un Bosco per Kyoto" enterprise, which in 2007 has involved several schools in the realization of projects for a social and responsible tourism. It is one of the most appreciated areas, unique for the decrease of fires and for the politics of environmental awareness.
